FG_AUTHORS: Who Can Cut It?
We all love a good holiday snap it’s just a shame that for the first few days away we’re not always looking our best, although this gorgeous beachy waves look could help.
The change in water can wreak havoc with your skin and hair, while the sun, chlorine and salt water doesn’t help either.
Their study also found the most popular summer hair trend, which probably won’t surprise you.
Almost half of all British women (48%) opted for ‘beachy waves’ even though 66% of them admitted they disliked how ‘crispy’ and ‘dry’ it made their hair look and feel.
“For those who like to share their holiday snaps on social media, the desire for sporting tousled, beachy waves can be another major contributor to hair damage,” said Anabel Kingsley, Trichologist at Philip Kingsley.
“The combination of hot styling tools and dehydrating salt sprays used to achieve the look can really add to general wear-and-tear. Thankfully, there are alternatives that can help you to create the look minus the crunch!”
