The L’Oreal Colour Trophy is like the FA Cup of hairdressing. It’s the competition every stylist dreams of winning and the Grand Final is the place to be!
This year’s was no different as over 1500 of the hair industries most prominent and successful figures descended on London’s Battersea Park for a night of glitz and glamour.
It was a night to remember for Abacus Hair, Bewdley (above) as they “took the judging panel by storm” and won the industries longest running and most renowned hair award, The L’Oréal Colour Trophy.
RMUK, Leeds was awarded with second place while Trevor Sorbie, Manchester scooped third place.

The highly anticipated L’Oréal Professionnel Men’s Image Award was won by The Colour Room, Stockport.
Celebrated runner up in this award were Stuart Holmes Salon, Cheltenham.
The L’Oréal Colour Trophy Regional Award winners for 2015 are:
Northern Ireland: Andrew Mulvenna, Belfast
Scotland: Lesley McDonald Hair & Beauty, Troon
North Western: Trevor Sorbie, Manchester
North Eastern: RMUK, Leeds
Western: Abacus Hair, Bewdley
Eastern: Maples of Stamford, Stamford
Southern: Toni & Guy, Guildford
London: Rush, The Strand
The L’Oréal Professional Young Colourist Awards were next to be announced and these aspiring colourists now make up the L’’Oréal Professionnel Colour Academy 2015/16.
The winners were:
Western Region: Rachel White, A.K.A. Hairdressing, Bristol
Southern Region: Chelsea Rosner, The Chair, Canterbury
London Region: Connor Scanlon, Headmasters Ham Academy, Ham
Eastern region: Katie Grogan, Headlines, Hertford
North Western Region: Olivia Nevill from Ashley Gamble Ltd, Shifnal
North Eastern Region: Samuel Johnson, Harringtons, Hull
Scottish Region: Kirsty Macbain, Alan Edwards Salon, Glasgow
Northern Irish Region: Emma Reynolds, Riah Hair and Beauty, Belfast

Simon Webster of Hair, Brighton, Electric Hairdressing, Liverpool, Milk Hairdressing, Livingston (L-R)
Simon Webster of Hair, Brighton was named Afro Hairdresser of the Year, while Electric Hairdressing, Liverpool won The People’s Choice Award 2015 Women’s Image award and the Best Men’s Image went to Milk Hairdressing, Livingston.
