Keep colour vibrant with Paul Mitchell
FG_AUTHORS: Who Can Cut It?
Quinoa might not to be everyone’s taste but Paul Mitchell have found the perfect use for it – as a key ingredient in their new Ultimate Color Repair Collection.
The new line uses the seed, which contains a source of protein and has a very high amino acid content which allows it to deliver “powerful repair and protection for longer-lasting colour.
How does the quinoa work
- Penetrated into the cortex and bonds like a magnet to negatively charged damage sites.
- Creates a scaffold around the hair, locking in colour and minimising oxidative damage that contributes to colour fade.
- Forms a protective shield around the hair while smoothing the cuticle and adding moisture and shine.
The range, which is available later this month, includes a shampoo, conditioner and Triple Rescue spray.
There’s nothing more annoying than watching your colour fade with every wash but research by Paul Mitchell found the range kept hair looking vibrant for up to nine weeks.
It also prevents thermal damage by 86%, results in 88% less breakage and makes hair 59% more shiny.
The Ultimate Color Repair Shampoo (£7.75-£39.25), is a gentle sulfate-free cleanser which protects, replenishes and helps repair colour-treated hair, while the Ultimate Color Repair Conditioner (£7.75-£39.95), is a daily hydrator and detangler for colour-treated hair, with UV protection.
